I have been doing some kind of practice for several months. Usually three or four quick sketches in hour and half. The main reference is BBC plant the earth. they have some really good reference for landscape and animals. Want to learn how to use color and how to painting something in photoshop without replying on layer effects and color dodge thing. Layer effect is very efficient and powerful but sometimes it will also makes painting very compueter look and very generic.

Some pages from sketchbook. Been thinking using different media not just ink and pencil. But for now, Ink and ball pen still very convenient for me to quickly draw something.

Poo Mermaid

A mermaid who has six arms and likes to play with poo. I think I was doing some toy design for... little kids?

Pittsburgh Life

Pittsburgh is really a nice city and ... many bridges here and there. Forgot who told me there are more than 500 bridges in this city. Very surprising.
